[[nl]]De Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten (KASK) herbergt niet enkel een filmopleiding, maar heeft sinds 2011 ook een eigen filmzaal. KASKcinema beschikt over 86 zitplaatsen en is technisch goed uitgerust. Hier mag je dus bands verwachten die niet alleen je oren maar ook je ogen de kost zullen geven. KASKcinema is een vertoningsplatform voor films die buiten het reguliere circuit vallen: festivalhits die in België geen traditionele distributie vonden, klassiekers en cultfilms, documentaires en animatiewerk, audiovisuele experimenten en kortfilms.

[[en]]The Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) not only houses a film course, but since 2011 also has its own cinema. KASKcinema has 86 seats and is technically well equipped. So here you can expect bands that will not only feast your ears but also your eyes. KASKcinema is a screening platform for films that fall outside the regular circuit: festival hits that found no traditional distribution in Belgium, classics and cult films, documentaries and animation work, audiovisual experiments and short films.

[[nl]]Deze cinema op de historische Bijlokesite richt zich niet enkel op kunststudenten, maar op alle filmliefhebbers. Ons doel is om een zo breed mogelijk publiek te laten kennismaken met filmpareltjes van vroeger en nu, uit alle hoeken van de wereld, van allerhande genres en formaten (waaronder 35 mm prints). We willen uitdagen en prikkelen met nieuwe stijlen en ideeën. KASKcinema = films voor durvers.

[[en]]This cinema on the historic Bijloke site is not only aimed at art students, but at all film lovers.Our goal is to introduce as wide a audience as possible to film gems from the past and present, from all over the world, of all kinds of genres and formats (including 35 mm prints).
